Laura Coulombe

As vice president, Human Resources and Organizational Development, Laura oversees internal recruitment, training and organizational development, talent management, internal communications, employee experience, employee relations, and the Maxim Centers of Excellence. Laura oversees the direction of human resource strategies focused on fulfilling Maxim’s mission to enhance the quality of life within the communities.

Laura joined Maxim in 2010 and brings more than 20 years of strategic professional experience, having served in several human resources functions in the healthcare and banking industries. She has served on Maxim’s Diversity and Inclusion Board since 2016 and is now the board’s co-Executive Sponsor.

Laura is a certified HR professional through SHRM-CP and holds a PHR with the HR Certification Institute and certifications in Myers Briggs and the Hogan Leadership Forecast Series. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Laura is actively involved in her community and volunteers regularly at the Second Harvest Food Bank.
