Kaspars Priede

Kaspars Priede has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being at Maxima Latvija as the Head of Category Support. In this role, they are responsible for project management, cross-departmental collaboration, and leading a team of 7 people. Kaspars also focuses on business process review and efficiency improvement. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Process Manager at Maxima Latvija, where they were involved in change management and project management. Before joining Maxima Latvija, Kaspars was the Head of Riga Ground Operations at airBaltic, overseeing day-to-day operations at Riga International Airport. Kaspars ensured compliance with established procedures and policies, managed quality assurance, and conducted audits for risk identification and improvement delivery. Kaspars also has experience as a Ground Handling Dispatcher at Havas Latvia and as a Ground Handling Dispatcher Assistant and Gate Agent at North Hub Services.

Kaspars Priede has a diverse education history. Kaspars obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations - European Studies from Rīga Stradiņš University, graduating in 2010. From 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Diplomacy at Latvijas Universitate. Priede continued their education by enrolling in RISEBA University, where they earned a Master's degree in Business Management from 2021 to 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Priede has also obtained several certifications. In 2010, they completed a Radio Telephony Technique Course at Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme. In 2014, they acquired the Basics of Employee Management certification from Komercizglītības Centrs SIA. Priede expanded their skillset further with certifications such as Station/Ground Handling Management from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 2017, Advanced SMS training from Quali-audit in 2019, and SGHA-SLA and Effective Negotiation Behaviors from IATA in 2019. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a certification in Ievadkurss par efektivitātes paaugstināšanas metodēm from Biznesa efektivitātes asociacija.
