Manish Arora has a diverse range of work experience. Manish co-founded Maximl in 2017 and served as the COO, focusing on the development of a connected worker platform for the frontline workforce in manufacturing and process industries. Prior to that, they worked at ITC Limited from 2015 to 2017 as an Assistant Manager, leading process improvement initiatives for the tobacco value chain and mentoring managers in various functions. Manish also has experience in the education sector, having served as the General Secretary of the Training and Placement Cell at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they completed a summer internship at ITC Limited, where they designed an IT system to optimize buying strategies at tobacco auction platforms. Additionally, Manish has worked as a research intern at Hanyang University in 2013, focusing on improving occluded-pedestrian detection for ADAS and driverless cars. Manish also conducted an internship at Suzlon Wind Energy A/S in 2012, studying the electro-mechanical sensor system in wind turbine generators. Overall, Manish has a strong background in operations management, process improvement, and technology solutions.
Manish Arora graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Army Public School, Pune, focusing on High School/Secondary Certificate Programs. In addition to their formal education, Manish Arora has obtained additional certifications in Selling and Marketing SaaS Solutions to the Enterprise from Stanford Continuing Studies, Open Water Scuba Diver from PADI, and Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt from KPMG.
