McKenzie DuBois has worked as a Data Engineer at Maximum Games since November 2021, starting as a Data Engineer I before being promoted to Data Engineer II in April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Learning Assistant at the UNC Department of Computer Science from August 2019 to January 2021. McKenzie also has experience in the UNC Student Government Executive Branch, where they held the positions of Communications Task Force Manager from April 2019 to June 2020, and Communications Task Force - Graphics Specialist from April 2018 to April 2019. In addition, McKenzie worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Allscripts from May 2019 to August 2019, where they developed a predictive model for classifying cancer tissue images and conducted research on the impact of cloud technologies on Allscripts software. They also had an internship as a Solutions Management Intern at Allscripts from May 2018 to August 2018.
McKenzie DuBois completed their Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Biology and Spanish for the Health Professions from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McKenzie attended the university from 2017 to 2021. In 2019, they participated in a program at Centro Internacional de Estudios Culturales (CINECU) in Sevilla, focusing on science. Before their college education, McKenzie attended Needham B. Broughton High School, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate program from 2013 to 2017.
In addition to their formal education, McKenzie also obtained certifications in Level 1 Trainer from Lagree Fitness in May 2023 and IBM Data Science Specialization from IBM in May 2021.
