Thomas Semmelmann

Thomas Semmelmann is a seasoned firmware development professional with extensive experience in leading projects and departments across multiple technology companies. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Head of Department Firmware Development at MaxLinear since August 2020, Thomas previously held similar leadership roles at Intel Corporation and Lantiq Beteiligungs - GmbH & Co. KG, specializing in firmware development for xDSL technologies. With a foundational career beginning at Siemens AG, Thomas has developed a strong expertise in firmware development, interoperability, and customer support, complemented by a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Elektrotechnik from Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg and early education in energy electronics at Energieversorgung Ostbayern AG.
