Joel Wright

Joel Wright's work experience includes positions in various companies and roles throughout their career. Joel started their career at Walgreens in 1994 as a Pharmacy Manager and later became a Pharmacy Supervisor. Joel then held multiple roles within Walgreens' Home Care division, including Director of Operations, VP of the Business Unit, and VP of Walgreens Respiratory. In 2009, they became the Executive Director for the Southeast region, responsible for leading field pharmacy operations. From 2010 to 2013, Joel served as the Walgreen Sr. Director of Health System Operations, where they implemented strategies for growth and efficiency. From 2013 to 2016, they led the Specialty Solutions Group as Divisional Vice President, overseeing various specialty pharmacy operations. In 2016, Joel became the Interim CEO of Walgreens Prime Strategic Alliance, leading the strategic alliance between Walgreens Boots Alliance USA division and Prime Therapeutics Inc. Since 2017, they have served as the CEO of AllianceRx Walgreens Pharmacy, one of the largest specialty and home delivery companies in the country. In addition, starting from 2023, Joel will assume the role of President Pharmacy Services Maxor at Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC.
