Heather Dawson

Heather Dawson has worked in various roles since 1993. Heather began as a Personal Property Appraiser at Dawson's Auctions in 1993, followed by a Special Education Teacher at the High School for Leadership and Public Service in 1997. In 1999, they moved to the New Hampshire Board of Education as a Special Education Teacher and then to Douglas County School District in 2012, also as a Special Education Teacher. In 2016, they became an Account Relationship Manager at EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE (EBTH). In 2018, they took on the role of Appraiser and Auctioneer at Heirloom Downsizing Solutions and Appraisal Services. Most recently, in 2022, they became an Account Executive and Customer Success Specialist at MaxSold.

Heather Dawson's education history includes a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Syracuse University from 1994 to 1997, a Student Teaching in Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University from 1998 to 1999, and a High School diploma from Kent Place School from 1987 to 1993. In 2021, they obtained a License from Southeastern School of Auctioneering, and in 2018 they obtained an Appraiser in General Contents from International Society of Appraisers. Heather also holds certifications in Certified Auctioneers License from Southeastern School of Auctioneering (2021), Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice from AQB Certified National USPAP Course Instructor #44636 (2017), Elementary Education from Colorado Department of Education (2015), Special Education 5-21 from Colorado Department of Education (2015), and Crisis Prevention Intervention from Douglas County School District (2014).
