Meredith Burrell, P. Eng. has a wealth of experience in engineering and continuous improvement. Meredith began their career as a Student Intern at Celestica in 1998, where they developed, maintained, and supported GR228X test applications, authored and updated manufacturing process instructions, and trained new In-Circuit Test Engineering Team members and Debug/In-Circuit Test operators. In 2000, they were promoted to Associate Test Engineer at Celestica, where they were the In-Circuit Test Engineering Team Leader and Main Customer Contact. In this role, they oversaw the in-circuit testing process, developed and maintained testing projects, and provided technical support for a multi-million dollar customer. From 2003 to 2012, they worked as a Process Development Engineer and Management Co-Chair of the Joint Health and Safety Committee at Honeywell. During this time, they interfaced with manufacturing and other engineers while developing processes for new products and making process improvements for existing products. Meredith also created and updated production documentation including bill of materials, routings, and standard work. In 2012, Meredith began working as an Improvement Facilitator (Process Improvement) at The Scarborough Hospital. Here, they used Lean, Six Sigma, and engineering methodologies to make sustainable changes to non-medical processes by facilitating group discussions/Kaizan events and identifying, designing, testing, and implementing improvement opportunities and change ideas. From 2014 to present, they have been working at Noranco Inc. as a Continuous Improvement Specialist. In this role, they have led continuous improvement activities in a machine shop environment in the aerospace industry, supervised employees, met with customers, and participated in senior management meetings/reviews. Additionally, from 2014 to present, Meredith has also been working at MaxSold as a Photographer, Cataloger, Brand Ambassador, Fill In the Blank Team and Production Master. In this role, they have cataloged/documented items, photographed items, edited catalogs, and provided customer support. Meredith has also provided leadership and local assistance for Q&A from other team members, given feedback on process and quality regarding auction drafts, and trained new employees in cataloging, photography, pickup and preview processes.

Meredith Burrell, P. Eng. obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Computer Engineering Option from the University of New Brunswick between 1995 and 2000. In 2007, they completed the Ontario Management Development Program, Leadership Skills at Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. Between 2008 and 2010, they completed the Health, Safety and Environmental Processes Certificate Program at the College of Extended Learning University of New Brunswick. Meredith is also a Certified member of Joint Health and Safety Committee from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and a Six Sigma Plus Green Belt from Honeywell.
