Kyusung John Cho

Kyusung John Cho is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in augmented reality, computer vision, and machine learning. Currently serving as CTO and Vice President at MAXST since April 2017, Kyusung specializes in XR, metaverse technologies, visual positioning systems, and sensor-fusion SLAM. Prior to this role, Kyusung worked as a Senior Researcher at ETRI from September 2013 to March 2017, focusing on advanced computer vision applications and human motion tracking. Kyusung's career also includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics, where work involved mobile device object recognition and Tizen OS development. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master’s degree, and a Bachelor's degree, all from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, along with foundational education from Hansung Science High School.
