Cheryl Marshall

Ms. Marshall joined Maxus in September of 2003 as a Regional Property Manager and has over 30

years of experience in the multifamily industry. Ms. Marshall started in the industry in 1986 with Post

Properties in Atlanta, Georgia, as a leasing consultant, and quickly became involved with lease-ups throughout Georgia and Florida. Within a year, Ms. Marshall became a Marketing Director for new

acquisitions and lease-ups. Ms. Marshall has extensive experience in overseeing Tax Credit,

Conventional, Section 8, and REIT properties. Ms. Marshall’s most recent position was as Regional

Property Manager for Maxus Properties of which she held for 15 years, overseeing a portfolio of 10-

16 properties with over 4,383 units. Ms. Marshall’s region consisted of properties in Kansas,

Missouri, Georgia, and Mississippi. In January of 2019, Ms. Marshall was promoted to Senior Vice

President of Operations with Maxus Properties, overseeing the operations of 57 properties

throughout the United States.
