Oliver Chang has a diverse range of work experience. Oliver began their career in 2011 as a Debate Course Instructor at Fung Kei Primary School, where they educated children on debate principles and techniques. In 2013, they worked as an Attraction and Guests Services Host at Hong Kong Disneyland, providing exceptional customer service. Oliver then worked as a Freelance Concept Artist at Inkle Studios in 2016, where they conceptualized in-game architectural elements and tailored designs. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Digital Artist at Asylum Models and Effects Ltd, designing and visualizing concepts for various clients. In 2017, they also worked briefly as a Life Drawing Instructor at Bespoke Dance and Functions, curating life drawing lessons for events. Since 2019, Oliver has been employed at Maxx Marketing, initially as a Product Designer/Illustrator, responsible for end-to-end design solutions for toys and merchandise. Oliver is currently working as an Art Director at Maxx Marketing, where they oversee projects, establishes production standards, and ideates and conceptualizes various product categories.
Oliver Chang attended the University of the Arts London from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration. Oliver'sstudies focused on various aspects of illustration including concept art, sequential art, reportage illustration, and printmaking. In addition, Oliver also obtained an Associate Degree in Design (Visual Communication) and a BA Illustration (Hons), although the specific institutions and dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
