Toby Shearman

Toby Shearman is a highly experienced professional in the fields of robotics and data science, currently serving as a Senior Robotics Engineer and Senior Scientist at May Mobility since April 2022. Prior roles include Director and Associate Director of Decision Sciences at Epsilon from March 2020 to April 2022, and Senior Scientist and Data Scientist at Conversant from August 2017 to March 2020. Toby's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona, alongside dual Bachelor's Degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from Virginia Tech. Early in the career, Toby gained hands-on engineering experience as a co-op education student at Micron Technology. Additionally, experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona, supplemented by a position at Los Alamos National Laboratory, focused on the development of machine learning technology for materials science and design.
