Wolfgang Ornik

Wolfgang Ornik has an extensive work experience in the field of production and technology. Wolfgang started their career at MACO Produktions GmbH in 2003 as a Betriebsassistent and gradually advanced to roles such as Produktionsplanung/-steuerung and Leitung Fertigungsübergreifende Prozesse. In 2008, they became Leitung Produktion & Technik at MACO Produktions GmbH until September 2019. Wolfgang then joined MAYER & CO BESCHLÄGE GMBH (MACO) as Head of Production & Technology MACO Group in September 2019. In May 2020, they became the Gewerberechtlicher Geschäftsführer of MACO Produktions GmbH Trieben, and in May 2021, they assumed the same role in MACO Baubeschlag Produktions & Betriebs GmbH.

Wolfgang Ornik began their education in 1989 at Berufsschule Graz St. Peter, where they studied to become a Chemielabortechniker. Wolfgang completed this program in 1992. In 1998, they enrolled at Höhere Technische Lehranstalt Leoben | Berg- und Hüttenhochschule Leoben and pursued a degree in Hüttentechnik/Metallurgie, completing the program and earning the title of Werksmeister für die Hüttenindustrie in 1999. From 1999 to 2003, they attended Höhere technische Bundeslehr- und Versuchsanstalt Graz-Gösting | BULME, where they obtained an Ingenieur degree. Finally, from 2009 to 2011, they studied at Hochschule Mittweida, earning a Dipl.-Wirtschaftsing. (FH) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften.
