Ashok Kumar Bal

Shri Ashok Kumar Bal belongs to the 1983 batch of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and held various leadership positions in Government, Public Sector and Corporates. He combines diverse experience across broad spectrum of activities and sectors. Mr. Bal holds Master’s Degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. He did MBA from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. He also holds a Law degree from University of Mumbai. After taking VRS from IRS, he joined as President, Chairman’s Office, Reliance Industries Ltd., Mumbai and thereafter, as the Chief Executive Officer-India Mining Operations, Essel Mining & Industries Ltd., a flagship company of the US$ 42 billion Aditya Birla Group. He is presently the Managing Director of Brahmani River Pellets Limited, one of the largest Pellet manufacturers of India since August 25, 2021.
