Michael Coury

Michael Coury serves as the Associate Principal for Curriculum, Instruction, and Staff Development at Mayfield City School District since August 2022, while also working as an Adjunct Faculty member at Malone University since August 2019. Previous roles include Data & Accountability Coordinator at Garfield Heights City Schools and Curriculum Consultant at the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio. Michael has held leadership positions as Principal at Copley High School and Waterloo High School, as well as Assistant Principal at Cloverleaf Middle School. Early in the career, Michael was a Mathematics Teacher at Green High School, specializing in Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics, and developed an AP Statistics program. Michael's academic credentials include a Master of Education in Educational Administration and 60 Graduate Hours in Evaluation and Measurement from Kent State University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education.
