Courtney Harlow-Humphreys

Courtney Harlow-Humphreys is an experienced environmental education professional currently serving as the Environmental Programs Coordinator for Thomas Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District since February 2022. Concurrently, Courtney has held the position of Manager of Environmental Education at Maymont since September 2017, where responsibilities include creating educational programs, managing scheduling and payments, and mentoring interns and volunteers. Previous roles encompass costumed interpretation at Frontier Culture Museum VA and various educational positions at Maymont, the Science Museum of Virginia, and state parks, with a focus on interpretive programming and hands-on educational experiences. Courtney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Virginia Commonwealth University and has additional educational experience at the University of Mary Washington.
