Daniela Lagoa

Daniela Lagoa is a Senior Manager in Indirect Tax at Mazars in Portugal, having progressed through various roles such as Tax Manager (VAT) and Indirect Tax Senior Consultant since June 2017. Prior experience includes serving as an Indirect Tax Senior Consultant at EY from September 2014 to June 2017, where responsibilities encompassed VAT services, compliance, technical advice, and VAT recovery on bad debts. Daniela was also involved in a comprehensive two-year program at EY, gaining exposure across different tax departments. Earlier experience includes a summer internship at Câmara Municipal de Leiria focused on public law. Educational qualifications comprise a postgraduate degree in European Customs Duties from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the same institution, and a Licentiate degree in Law from Universidade de Coimbra.
