Dr. Jakob Ammer

Dr. Jakob Ammer has a diverse work experience starting as an Intern at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA in 2007. Dr. Jakob then worked as an Intern at J.P. Morgan in 2010 and later as an Intern at Berenberg. Moving forward, they joined Bain & Company as a Consultant in 2017, before becoming a Case Team Leader. Dr. Jakob transitioned to MBB SE as Vice President Operations in 2020 and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer.

Dr. Jakob Ammer began their education at Sevenoaks School in Kent, United Kingdom, where they completed the International Baccalaureate in 2005. Dr. Jakob then pursued a BSc in Government and Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science from 2006 to 2009. After that, they obtained a Master in Management (M. Sc.) from ESCP Business School from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they attended the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business for their Master of Business Administration. Dr. Ammer completed their academic journey by earning a Doktor der Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Dr. rer. pol.) from Universität Witten/Herdecke at the Witten Institute for Family Businesses (WIFU) from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they also attended IMD from 2006 to 2015.
