Cristina Maria Franciosa has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cristina Maria worked as a Researcher at Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza from January 2003 to March 2005, conducting research on safety and security in civil environments. Cristina Maria then worked as a Safety and Risk Analysis consultant at SRS - Società Ricerca e Sviluppo from April 2002 to December 2002.
In 2004, Cristina joined MBDA as a Hardware Design Manager, Project Engineer, and Work Package Manager, a role they held until June 2012. During their time at MBDA, they also worked as a Senior Buyer and IGP external interface from June 2012 to September 2016, where they developed corporate strategies for Industrial General Procurement and managed major programs.
From September 2016 to July 2017, Cristina served as an ISP Italy Client Facing role at MBDA, focused on supply management and client-facing activities. Cristina Maria then took on the role of ISP/E/IM SCM & PPM from July 2017 to December 2020, where they managed the supply chain and procurement for major equipment supplies.
In March 2023, Cristina obtained Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification as a result of their work at MBDA ITALIA S.P.A. Cristina Maria supported Green Belt projects in problem identification and analysis, as well as innovation for improvement ideas and solutions.
Finally, starting in December 2023, Cristina will work as a University Lecturer at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where they will continue their collaboration with MBDA Italia S.p.A.
Cristina Maria Franciosa has a diverse educational background. Cristina Maria obtained a PhD in Safety and Protection from Sapienza Università di Roma in 2005 after completing their Graduation in Nuclear Engineering from the same institution in 2002. Cristina Maria also earned a Certification in Nuclear Engineering and Energy Conversion from Sapienza Università di Roma in 2005. Additionally, Cristina completed a TRIZ Basic and Advanced course in problem-solving from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2013, and a TRIZ course dedicated to patents from the same institution in 2022. Cristina Maria also holds a Professional Certificate in Soft Skills for advanced critical thinking from Rochester Institute of Technology acquired in 2019-2020 and a Master's degree in 2008 from Finmeccanica/MBDA. Furthermore, they attended the MBDA Missile Systems University where they pursued a March degree until 2007. Cristina has also achieved several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from BQF in 2023 and 2022 respectively, as well as a Soft Skills professional certificate from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2020. Moreover, they completed a Leading Organizations and Change Professional Certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2021 and holds a Fire Prevention Qualification from Ministero dell'Interno in 2006, and an Engineering Practice Qualification from Sapienza Università di Roma in 2003.
