Matthew Lagana

Matthew Lagana began their work experience in 1993 as an Information System Security Engineer at Avon. Matthew then moved on to become Manager of Global Information Security before joining MBIA in 2000 as Chief Information Security Officer. Matthew later held the position of Director of Information Technology at MBIA before ultimately becoming Managing Director - CTO & CISO.

Matthew Lagana received a Master's degree in Management & Systems with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership from New York University in the years 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their BBA in Management Information Systems at Iona University from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 in August 2002.
