David Nguyen

David Nguyen has had a varied work experience over the past decade. In 2020, they became the CTO & Co-founder of Mbrella, an HR platform that simplifies the process of creating mobility plans for employees. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Netis in 2010. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Node.js Developer & AWS DevOps for DPG Media IT, where they were responsible for designing and implementing a highly scalable and resilient REST api. In 2017, they were a Full Stack Developer & DevOps for Adessa Group, building an employee reward - benefit & compensation web platform. In 2016, they were a Full Stack Developer for 26 Lights, a development agency offering tailored consulting services to startups and fast growing companies. David also worked as a Full Stack Developer for Presale Inc. and as a Backend Engineer for Instaply, Inc. in the same year. In 2013, they were a Senior Java Developer for both the National Bank of Belgium and Scarlet Belgium. Finally, in 2012, they were a Software Architect / Senior Java Developer for the European Parliament, where they were responsible for defining the technology stack.

David Nguyen obtained a Bachelor in Computer Technology from Haute Ecole de la Ville de Liège in 2003. In 2016, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance. In 2018, they obtained an AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services.
