Joel Brecker

Joel Brecker has worked in the IT and software development industry since 2009. Joel began their career as a Computer Technician and Owner at CrackerJack Software Development, where they managed the company finances and inventory, as well as repaired computers, removed viruses, installed new hardware, software and network security evaluations. In 2012, they moved on to Prosource.it as an Infrastructure Engineer II, where they wrote vbscripts for windows clients, Perl scripts for NETIQ to manage UNIX servers, and authored C# small software packages to handle file conversions and manage databases. In 2014, they joined BMC Software as a Control-M Technical Support Analyst, where they created YouTube videos, was the lead Subject Matter Expert in Control-M Application Integrator and Control-M Workload Archiving, assisted customers with migrating to supported versions of the Control-M software, resolved Severity 1 issues, communicated effectively with customers in high stress situations, and maintained a large Knowledge Base. In 2017, Joel Brecker founded JBit Pro, where they were the Business Owner. In 2018, they became the Operations Manager at SalesNexus CRM and Marketing Automation, where they were in charge of making sure that all customers got the highest level of support and that the team was providing the best tool and service. Currently, Joel Brecker works as a DevOps Engineer at MBS Secure.

Joel Brecker graduated from Bellville High School in 1995 with a Diploma in Computer Science.
