Brian Fowler

Brian Fowler is an experienced Linux Engineer currently working at MBS since October 2021, following a tenure as a Unix/Linux System Administrator at IBM from June 2019 to October 2021. With a strong background in Linux systems and database administration at MBS Textbook Exchange from March 2006 to June 2019, Brian installed, maintained, and configured various Linux systems to support database operations. Additional roles include Help Desk and Implementation Specialist and Operations Maintenance Technician, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and repairing computer hardware and software issues as well as operational systems. Brian's military service as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1991 to 2000 included roles as an Anti-Tank Assaultman and Refrigeration Mechanic. Brian holds two degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia: a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
