Mike Schmid

Mike Schmid has over 40 years of experience in software development and management. Currently serving as a software developer at MBS Textbook Exchange since June 1999, Mike has developed the TA2 (TextAid) software offering for college bookstores. Prior to this role, Mike worked at Mize, Houser and Company for 20 years, where responsibilities included managing a team of software developers and leading custom development projects for external clients. Earlier experience also includes developing custom software for the corrugated packaging industry, which initially supported a local client and later expanded to a nationwide application. Mike holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed graduate work in Computer Science at the University of Kan.
