Dietmar Exler

Dietmar Exler has been president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA since 2014. Prior to that, they served as vice president of MBFS at Mercedes Benz Financial USA from 2010 to 2013, and as chief operating officer of Mercedes-Benz Bank Germany from 2005 to 2009. Exler began their career at DaimlerChrysler Financial Services in 2002 as vice president of customer services. Dietmar then spent four years at McKinsey & Company as an engagement manager before joining Mercedes-Benz USA.

Dr. Dietmar Exler is a lawyer who has a Doctor of Laws degree from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and a Master of Laws degree from University of Chicago Law School. Dietmar is also certified by the New York State Bar Association as a member of the bar in New York.
