Pontsho Barry Kgoetego

Pontsho Barry Kgoetego is an experienced Assistant Surveyor at Mbuyelo Coal, starting in July 2023, previously working as a Survey Intern where practical knowledge in surveying techniques and data collection methods for surface mining operations is being gained. Responsibilities include conducting topographic surveys, monitoring stockpile volumes, and ensuring accurate blast patterns. Prior experience includes a Student Trainee position at Sibanye-Stillwater from December 2017 to November 2018, where underground survey methods were utilized, including traversing, measuring, and data management. Pontsho holds a National Diploma in Mine Surveying from the University of South Africa, obtained between 2009 and 2019.
