Jim Sheppard

Jim Sheppard has a diverse work experience spanning several leadership roles in finance and consulting. Jim most recently served as the Group CFO at AHEAD starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they were the CFO at MBX Systems from January 2022 until their departure date is unknown. At MBX Systems, they also held the role of VP Finance from October 2020 to January 2022. Before joining MBX Systems, Jim worked as VP Finance at Fischer Paper Products from June 2018 to July 2020.

Earlier in their career, Jim worked as a Consultant at Brilliant™ from July 2016 to June 2018, where they provided leadership services to a global professional services firm. Jim also served as the VP Finance at BrightStar Care from October 2013 to September 2015.

Prior to that, Jim was the CFO at Landscape Concepts Management from August 2008 to January 2013, overseeing financial controls, implementing an ERP system, and leading acquisition evaluations. Jim also held the role of SVP Finance, Commercial Print at Cenveo from January 2006 to March 2008.

Jim's work experience extends back to their tenure at RR Donnelley, starting in March 1987. Jim served as the VP Finance in Business Communication Services until January 2006. Before that, they worked as a Controller at Moore Wallace, an RR Donnelley Company, from March 1987 to December 2002.

Jim Sheppard has a strong education background in the field of finance and accounting. Jim obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance from Eastern Illinois University, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting at the University of Hartford, from 2001 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Sheppard has acquired two notable certifications. In 1996, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Board of Examiners at the University of Illinois. Prior to that, in 2000, they earned the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certification from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
