Yagna Narayanan Balasubramanian

Yagna Narayanan Balasubramanian has a diverse background in mechanical engineering and design, currently serving as a Social Impact Consultant at mByom since May 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Assistant Manager of Design & Development at RALSON TYRES INDIA (LIMITED), where Yagna contributed to the establishment of the predictive engineering department. As an Engineer-D Senior Technical Officer at JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., Yagna worked on durability and thermo-mechanical analysis of various TBR and OTR tyres. Earlier engagements include a Project Associate position at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, focusing on predicting wear mechanisms in Truck Bus Radial tyres, and a Project Intern role at Super Auto Forge (P) Limited, where Yagna utilized Six Sigma principles to reduce rejection rates. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai and a certificate course in Engineering Design and Analysis from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
