Rafael Capella

Rafael Capella has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Rafael began their career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young, where they gained experience in serving large multinational corporations and validating internal controls. Rafael then worked as the Deputy CFO at Veolia Water, a French transnational company. After that, Rafael took on the role of CFO Onshore and Legal Entity - Brazil at Siemens Gamesa, a global technology leader in renewable energy. Rafael later joined MC-Bauchemie, initially as the Head of Finance Brazil and then as the CFO LATAM, responsible for the financial areas of the company. Currently, they are the Regional Finance Director - LATAM at MC-Bauchemie Brasil, where they lead a team across three countries. Additionally, Rafael is a Founding Partner & CEO at Leap Solutions, a service boutique focused on quality and value for clients. Rafael also serves as an Advisory Board Member at Solar Group. In the future, Rafael will take on the role of Partner & CFO at Bella Home Decor Móveis e Objetos de Decorações Ltda. and INVIAS ENGENHARIA LTDA.

Rafael Capella has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study and includes multiple degrees and programs. In 2006, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Centro Universitário FIEO. In 2010, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Audit, Finance, and Controllership from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. The following year, in 2011, they attended Ernst & Young University (EYU) for a Business Program with a focus on derivatives.

Continuing their education, Rafael enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in Leadership and People Management at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 2014. Rafael deepened their knowledge in cost management and pricing formation through a Business Program at FIPECAFI - Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Contábeis, Atuariais e Financeiras in 2010.

In 2019, Rafael joined IESE Business School for the Program for General Management Development (PMD), which they completed in 2022. During this period, they also attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education for a Business Program focused on Leadership Principles in 2020. Subsequently, in 2021, they pursued a Business Program at FIA Business School, with a specific focus on Business Innovation, Leadership, and Strategy.

Rafael's commitment to continuous learning is evident in their participation in various short-term programs. These include a PAT 2013 program in Administração e Negócios at ISE Business School in 2023 and a PAT 2022 program in Administração e Negócios, also at ISE Business School in 2022. Furthermore, they engaged in a Business Program and a Business Program focused on Leadership and Networking at FIA Business School in 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Business Program at Ernst & Young Corporate University in 2009 and a Business Program in Project Management at Universidade São Judas Tadeu in 2007.

Additionally, Rafael sought interdisciplinary knowledge by earning a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from UNINGÁ - Centro Universitário Ingá in 2021. Rafael also participated in an Interchange Program at VEC - Vancouver English Center in 2008, supplementing their language skills.

Currently, Rafael Capella is enrolled in a Business Program at FIA Business School, concentrating on Business, Leadership, and Networking.
