Mara Burrows

Mara Burrows is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including healthcare and gaming. Currently serving as the Director of People & Culture at MCA Dental Group since December 2021, Mara leads the HR department's operations in Ontario and Quebec. Previous roles include Human Resources Business Partner and HR Generalist at Hard Rock Ottawa, where responsibilities spanned recruitment, employee relations, labor relations, and training development. Mara also contributed to national talent acquisition efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic with the Canadian Red Cross, and held positions in recruitment and resource management at Quantum Management Services and Robertson & Company Ltd. An educator in dental hygiene at Algonquin College, Mara combines clinical expertise with a solid foundation in human resources management, holding degrees from The University of British Columbia and Algonquin College.
