Marianne Jordan started their career in 1989 as the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Allegheny College, where they developed the college's first-ever grant seeking program and raised $14 million for capital and programmatic initiatives. In 1997, they joined Bowdoin College as the Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations, where they grew the small volume CFR Office into a highly productive grant-seeking operation and brought in millions of dollars for institutional and faculty projects and research. In 2000, they volunteered at CASE. In 2012, Marianne became a self-employed writer/editor/grants consultant before joining McAllister & Quinn as the Managing Director of Grant Services and Foundation Practice Leader.
Marianne Jordan pursued their education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1973 to 1975, where they earned an A.B. degree in English. Marianne then continued their education at the University of Michigan from 1975 to 1977, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.
