Megan MacKay

Megan MacKay, CPA, CA has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Megan'smost recent position is Senior Director Finance at MCAP, which they started in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at EY from 2015 to 2021, serving as a Manager in Financial Accounting Advisory Services and as a Senior in Assurance Services. Before joining EY, Megan worked at Wilfrid Laurier University as a Business and Co-op Ambassador and as an SBESS Mentor from 2010 to 2014. Megan also gained experience as a Staff Accountant Co-op at EY from 2012 to 2013, where they provided critical analysis of clients' control procedures and assessed business processes. Additionally, Megan served as Co-Chair of the Co-op Student Advisory Council in 2012. Earlier in their career, they volunteered as a Communication Volunteer at Parkinson Society Canada in 2011 and as an Event Treasurer at Gerontology Network Workshop from 2007 to 2010.

Megan MacKay, CPA, CA holds an Honours Business Administration degree in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University. Megan obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) certifications from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) in 2017.
