Teckla Smith

Teckla Smith is an experienced Senior Residential Mortgage Underwriter with a robust background in the financial services sector. Currently at MCAP since May 2019, Teckla previously held the same title at CIBC from March 2002 to May 2019. Prior to this, Teckla worked as an Underwriting Administrator Assistant at Investors Group and spent nearly a decade as a Customer Service Representative at CIBC Caribbean Limited. Teckla began a career in banking as a Bank Teller at TD. Teckla's educational qualifications include a diploma in Accounting from Seneca Polytechnic attained between 2002 and 2022, and earlier studies at George Harvey Collegiate Institute, culminating in an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) in 1987.
