Luciano Ferrer began their work experience in 1999 as a Summer Trainee at Ternium. Luciano then moved on to various roles at Molinos Rio de la Plata, including Director of Procurement and Director of Supply Chain, Customer Service & Procurement. During their time at Molinos Rio de la Plata, Luciano implemented strategic supply chain initiatives and integrated acquired companies into the value chain. Luciano also worked at Molino Cañuelas SACIFIA - Molino Americano as a General Manager External Advisor, where they achieved significant financial turnaround and engineered a value chain transformation. Luciano co-founded Patagonia Mistica in 2014, serving as a Partner and Co-Founder responsible for the start-up of the company. Currently, Luciano is working at McCain Foods as the Global Lead - Supply Chain Transformation (Farm to Fork) and previously served as Vice President of Supply Chain Latin America and Director of Supply Chain Latin America. In these roles, Luciano transformed the supply chain function, positioned supply chain as a strategic business partner, and implemented process improvements, resulting in substantial value creation for the company.
Luciano Ferrer has a diverse education history with a focus on business and management. In 1995, they began their academic journey at the University of Buenos Aires, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering in 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Buenos Aires from 2005 to 2006. Luciano also attended various executive education programs, such as the Management Development Program at IAE Business School in 2009-2010 and the Future Leaders Program at The Consumer Goods Forum in 2018. In 2021, they participated in specialized courses at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and Duke University on topics of change readiness, agility, and achieving mental flow. Recently, in 2022, Luciano completed a program on Leading and Managing Globally at Yale University through their ExecOnline platform. Additionally, they hold certifications from CSCMP - Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals obtained in 2011 and 2014. Luciano's education and certifications reflect a continuous commitment to professional development in the fields of business, management, and global leadership.
