Derek Coles

Derek Coles began their work experience in 1996 at Draftfcb, where they worked in client service until 2001. Derek then joined FCB Global, initially as a Managing Director and later as EVP - 1886. In 2011, Derek became the Managing Director of Hellocomputer before taking on roles at McCann1886 and McCann Joburg as President and Managing Director in 2019.

Derek Coles completed their education at Anglia Ruskin University in 2016, where they attained a Master's degree in Marketing and Innovation. Prior to that, they attended the University of Pretoria from 1988 to 1990, earning a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Marketing. Derek completed their high school education at The Glen High from 1982 to 1985.
