Sherrod Melvin

Sherrod Melvin has over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry. Sherrod is currently serving as the EVP, Executive Creative Director at McCann New York since May 2021. Previously, they held the role of Group Creative Director at McCann New York from January 2016 to May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Director at Havas from September 2014 to September 2015, and at JWT from October 2012 to September 2014. Sherrod also worked as a Freelance Associate Creative Director at Mullen from March 2012 to August 2012. Earlier in their career, they held positions as an Art Director at Cliff Freeman from May 2005 to June 2008, at BBDO from May 2002 to May 2005, and at JWT from October 2001 to April 2002. From 1998 to 2002, Sherrod Melvin attended the School of Visual Arts, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Advertising.
