Hossam Ammar

Hossam Ammar, Ph.D., P.Eng., is a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a proven track record in leading structural engineering projects across various companies. Currently employed at McElhanney and Lean Engineering Ltd since May and January 2021, respectively, Hossam has previously held senior positions at WorleyParsons and Waiward Steel LP, where responsibilities included structural leadership on significant projects such as the Suncor Energy DBQ project and the expansion of engineering services for multiple high-profile clients. Hossam's career commenced with a Co-op position at Frucon, and their academic background includes multiple advanced degrees in Geotechnical Engineering from Alexandria University and the University of South Florida.
