Julian Martinez

Julian Martinez is an accomplished software developer with a strong background in bioinformatics and molecular biology. Since August 2022, Julian has been contributing to the McGill Genome Centre as a software developer. Previously, Julian held software engineering positions at SHADDARI and FlashQ from April 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that, from July 2016 to April 2022, Julian served as a teaching assistant at McGill University, focusing on subjects such as microbiology and general biology. Julian's academic credentials include a PhD in Plant Science and Bioinformatics from McGill University, a Master of Science in Microbiology from the National University of Colombia, and a specialist degree in Epidemiology from Juan N.
