Dan Laporte

Dan Laporte has a strong background in technical service and support, particularly in the glass industry. Dan has held various leadership positions throughout their career, including Director of Laminating Sciences at McGrory Glass, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked at Eastman Chemical Company as a Technical Service and Applications Development Manager for nine years. During their time at Eastman, they provided support and training to glass fabricators, managed teams, and developed strategies to reduce costs and improve service. Before joining Eastman, Dan worked at Solutia Inc. as both a Marketing and Technical Service Manager and a Senior Marketing Technical Service Specialist. In these roles, they managed technical service and support for customers in the North American market and worked on developing account plans and strategies. Dan also spent some time at Monsanto Company as a Technical Supervisor, where they led a product development team and served as a member of the World Wide Quality Assurance Team.

Dan Laporte obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering (ChemE) from the University of New Hampshire. Dan attended the university from 1986 to 1990.
