Sara Clements

Sara Clements has a diverse work experience. Sara currently holds the position of Vice President, State Government Relations at McGuireWoods Consulting, where they work as a lobbyist, government affairs, and education consultant. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of External Affairs at Step Up For Students from 2015 to 2018. Sara also served as the Regional Advocacy Director for Florida at the Foundation for Excellence in Education from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they worked as a Legislative Analyst at the Foundation for Florida's Future from 2012 to 2014. Sara's earlier experience includes teaching roles at Florida State University from 2011 to 2012 and Orange County Public Schools from 2008 to 2011.

Sara Clements pursued their education at various institutions. Sara obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of North Florida, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Later, they attended Florida State University and achieved a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Education Policy Analysis, completing their studies from 2011 to 2015.
