Rana Hossain

Rana Hossain is an experienced interpreter and settlement coordinator specializing in assisting refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers. Currently serving as a Humanitarian Interpreter at both 911 Interpreters and Tarjimly since early 2024, Rana effectively bridges communication gaps, translates immigration documents, and facilitates smooth settlement processes. In addition, Rana holds the position of Community Interpreter at MCIS Language Solutions, providing crucial interpretation services across various settings in Canada, and works as a Settlement Coordinator at Indus Community Services. Complementing this work, Rana is a Volunteer Recruiter for the Canadian Red Cross and engages in freelance efforts to empower underprivileged children. With an academic background including an MBA from American International University-Bangladesh and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Hotel Resort and Restaurant Management from Centennial College, Rana combines strong educational qualifications with a commitment to community service.
