Erin Imon Gavin Ed.d.

Erin Imon Gavin, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Erin currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the McKnight Foundation since July 2022. Prior to this role, Erin held various positions at The McKnight Foundation, including Director of Program Integration from September 2020 to July 2022, Program Director - Education from January 2016 to September 2020, and Education & Learning Policy and Program Officer from June 2013 to December 2015. Erin also worked at The Minneapolis Foundation as a Policy, Advocacy and Leadership Initiative Summer Fellow in 2012. Erin started their career at Teach For America as a Licensed Reading Teacher from June 2009 to June 2012.

Erin Imon Gavin, Ed.D., has a strong educational background. Erin holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, they earned a Master of Education degree in Education Policy and Management from the prestigious Harvard Graduate School of Education.
