Malcolm Smith

Malcolm (Max) Smith is an experienced program and project manager with a strong background in advanced technology sectors. Currently serving as Programme Manager at McLaren Applied since July 2017, Malcolm leads a diverse portfolio in communication systems, analytics, data science, and condition insight. Prior roles include Senior Project Manager at McLaren Applied Technologies, where Malcolm successfully managed the development of the TAG320B Engine Control Unit for Formula 1. Additional experience encompasses directorial roles at MSE Projects, programme management at Telefónica, and senior project management at Nokia, where Malcolm managed significant development projects in telecommunications.
