Johnathon McLaughlin

Johnathon McLaughlin is the Executive Vice President of New Way Trucks. He has been with McLaughlin Family Companies for over 15 years, starting with jobs in New Way's fabrication and welding departments, then as regional sales manager for the southeastern United States, and now to his latest leadership position.

Johnathon manages one of New Way Trucks' largest sales territories, in addition to overseeing the operations and management of the Scranton Manufacturing facilities. He is responsible for the design, manufacturing, distribution and support of all New Way Trucks and K-PAC compactor products. He has also been at the forefront of large product developments like the Sidewinder automated side loader.

Aside from his business duties, Johnathon understands and values the role that the companies play in their communities, and has been recognized by a number of local groups for his efforts in these towns. Johnathon regularly leads blood drives, Toys for Tots donations, Relay for Life activities, and even managed the installation of a new playground for a local community center. He also shares McLaughlin Family Companies' respect and appreciation for those who have served our country, having hosted and served breakfast to local U.S. military service veterans on Veteran's Day.

Johnathon has been recognized as a waste industry leader, winning Waste360’s “40 under 40” award in 2018 for his work with New Way Trucks. The third generation of McLaughlin Family Companies, Johnathon shares his father and grandfather's commitment and work ethic, while bringing new perspectives that have already helped to change the industry.
