Nathan J. Schutte is an experienced architect who has worked with various architecture firms throughout their career. Nathan J. is currently the Corporate Segment Leader, Studio Director, and Architect at McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture since 2016. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Architecture and Co-Founder at INSITE strategy + architecture from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they were the President and Founder of Perspective Design Studio, LLC. from 2010 to 2012. Nathan J. also gained valuable experience as a Senior Associate at LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD. from 2005 to 2009 and as an Intern Architect at Goff D'Antonio Associates from 2003 to 2005. Throughout their career, Nathan has consistently focused on creating functional, beautiful, and well-designed buildings that meet the needs of their clients and enhance the quality of the community.

Nathan J. Schutte, AIA, LEED AP, CDT pursued their education at Kansas State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from 1998 to 2003. Later, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Community Development from 2010 to 2012. Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications including LEED AP Neighborhood Development from the Green Building Certification Institute in 2010, Architect | Certificate of Registration from the South Carolina State Board of Architectural Examiners in 2006, Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) from the Construction Specifications Institute in 2006, and LEED Accredited Professional from the US Green Building Council in 2006.
