Dan Shannon

Dan Shannon has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dan'smost recent role is as Head of Architecture, Cloud, and Common Platforms at McMillan Shakespeare (MMSG) since November 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Alpine Classic Co, where they managed Australia's premier one-day mass participation bicycle event. Before that, they worked at Marlo as the GM Consulting, contributing to the company's digital delivery services. Additionally, they held the position of Head of Architecture at Harvey Norman and IOOF Holdings Ltd. Dan Shannon also gained experience as an Information Technology Contractor at Greycell Systems Ltd, Technical Director at Sanderson Logistics, and Analyst/Programmer at Shepherd Building Group. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Tax Consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Dan Shannon attended St Peter's School in York from 1980 to 1986. From 1987 to 1990, they studied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and earned a Master of Arts degree.
