Jacob Wallin

Jacob Wallin is a Senior Mechanical Engineer currently at McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc., where tenure began in January 2020 after serving as a Systems Engineer from May 2019 to August 2019. During the internship, Jacob managed a significant shutdown project involving over 300 welders, designed a large weldment fixture to optimize processes, collaborated on environmental initiatives for product recycling, and developed efficient paint racks. Previous experience includes a role as a Drivetrain Engineering Intern at Textron Specialized Vehicles, where responsibilities included designing a CVT clutch test fixture and assisting in prototype vehicle assembly and testing. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, earned in 2019.
