Roy McCarthy

Roy McCarthy has a wealth of experience in finance and leadership roles. Roy currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of MCR Group, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Finance Director at MCR Group from December 2018 to May 2023, and the Head of Finance from September 2016 to December 2018. Before joining MCR Group, Roy worked as the Financial Controller at Stobart Air from September 2013 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Financial Controller and Finance Projects Manager at The Carphone Warehouse Ireland, Business Controller at Nokia Ireland, Commercial Manager at T-Systems, Finance Consultant at Accenture, Senior FP&A Analyst at Logica CMG, and Strategic Pricing Analyst at eircom.

Roy McCarthy earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies (Accounting) from Munster Technological University from 1993 to 1997. Later on, in 1997 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Business Studies (MBS) in International Business from University College Dublin. In 2007, they obtained their ACCA qualification (FCCA) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
