Ogbemudia Eddy Uwoghiren

Ogbemudia Eddy Uwoghiren is an Intern Medical Doctor at Edo Specialist Hospital since June 2022, and serves as the Executive Director of LifeSaversNG, a nonprofit organization focused on providing first aid training to under-served communities, impacting over 2,818 individuals. Ogbemudia has participated in various leadership programs, including being a Fellow at The Platform Young Professionals and an Alumnus of the Global Youth Advancement Network, with notable presentations on emergency healthcare challenges. As a winner of the Alumni Ventures Fund from MCW Global, Ogbemudia is dedicated to scaling community projects related to first aid education. Additionally, experiences include roles as a Campus Journalist at The Nation Newspaper, a Sub Intern at CellTek Healthcare Centre, and a journalist for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control during the COVID-19 response. Ogbemudia holds an MBBS degree from the University of Benin and a certificate in Citizen Journalism.
