Carlos Robinson

Carlos Robinson, MSPH, MBA, CSP, CIH has a broad range of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management. Carlos Robinson, MSPH, MBA, CSP, CIH began their career at 3M as an Industrial Hygienist and Safety Specialist, gaining knowledge in EH&S regulatory compliance and program development. Carlos Robinson, MSPH, MBA, CSP, CIH then joined Vulcan Materials Company as a Corporate Industrial Hygiene Director, overseeing health and safety programs for thousands of employees across multiple locations. Carlos later worked at Rheem Manufacturing as a Division EHS Manager, where they led a team and managed the medical center. Carlos Robinson, MSPH, MBA, CSP, CIH joined Southern Research as a Corporate EHS Manager, responsible for developing and implementing EHS programs and establishing a safety culture. Most recently, Carlos has been serving as the Corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety Director at McWane, Inc., where they have held multiple positions of increasing responsibility. In their current role, they have successfully implemented Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene programs and has driven risk reduction and streamlined EHS operations. Carlos has proven their ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain below industry averages for injury rates.

Carlos Robinson, MSPH, MBA, CSP, CIH, is an experienced Corporate Health and Safety Director. Carlos Robinson, MSPH, MBA, CSP, CIH holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Alabama, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Carlos also has a Masters of Science in Public Health (MSPH) with a focus on Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene, which they completed from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of South Alabama between 1987 and 1992. Additionally, Carlos has obtained certifications as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2017 and as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH®) in 2011.
